Is Pomegranate & Acai juice ok with blood pressure medications?
February 8th, 2010 | by admin |I am taking a betablocker called Coreg & ACE Inhibitor called Benicar . I was wondering if drinking those juices will interact with my medications. Don’t ask me to ask that to my doctor because they know nothing about those juices. They knkow nothing about supplements or herbs so I wonder why they always say : "please check with your doctor before taking this supplement " LOL
Drink them in small amounts, diluted with water.
They are great anti-oxidants, so regular use will help reduce some blockages, and your blood pressure. You may be able to reduce your dose of pills.
To much will also lower your BP so much you’ll want a nap. I’ve done that a few times.
A good research site is http://www.pubmed.gov
