I am taking a betablocker called Coreg & ACE Inhibitor called Benicar . I was wondering if drinking those juices will interact with my medications. Don’t ask me to ask that to my doctor because they know nothing about those juices. They knkow nothing about supplements or herbs so I wonder why they always say : "please check with your doctor before taking this supplement " LOL
Drink them in small amounts, diluted with water.
They are great anti-oxidants, so regular use will help reduce some blockages, and your blood pressure. You may be able to reduce your dose of pills.
To much will also lower your BP so much you’ll want a nap. I’ve done that a few times.
A good research site is http://www.pubmed.gov

When is it okay to start giving your baby juice? My son is 4months & 1week old. He has starting eating jar veggies every night for dinner. Is it okay to give him like very watered down juice with it? He has like 6 8oz bottles throughout the day, 1jar of food, and then 1 more 8oz bottle with cereal to thicken it up before bed. So he’s definately getting his nutrition lol. He weighs 16.5lbs! Born at 8lbs!
Most professionals, such as the website listed below, recommend waiting as close to a year as you can. Part of the reasoning behind this is that juice is almost 100% sugar. The actual fruit as opposed to the juice will be much healthier as it includes fiber which helps baby digest that much sugar.
Also with 7 8oz bottles, he is getting PLENTY of fluids.
Personally I’d recommend adding another jar of fruit, rather than a bottle of juice.
If you do start feeding your baby juice, 4 ounces is the most you should give per day until past toddler age. This will help prevent diarrhea. Also, if your baby has diarrhea, NEVER give them juice. Juice makes this problem worse and can even be the cause of it. Contact your Dr. if baby has prolonged or severe diarrhea. Typically it is treated with pedialyte.

I LOVE white grape juice. But here recently whenever I drink it I get those "false labor" contractions. Is there something in it that brings these on or is my timing just impecabble?
grapes and grape juice are a natural diuretic and could be causing some cramps due to that. i don’t think they’re labor pains…..although my mom swears that since i was a week late in coming out, she ate a pizza and had a glass of wine & swears this is what started the labor!

When you use a juice extractor, it takes roughly 5 whole fruits to make 1 glass of juice. So does that 1 glass of juice count as 5 daily servings of fruits and vegetables or just 1?
no. 1 glass doesn’t count as 5 servings. 1 glass (8 oz) would count as one serving. it just takes more juice because it’s only taking the juice and not the pulp. your body needs the pulp because it supplies lots of nutrients and vitamins for your body along with fiber.
