Which Juice Is Which?

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

Currently there are many natural juices that are claimed by their manufacturers to have decided health benefits. The three main ones that we will look at today are also the most popular, namely, Himalayan Goji Juice, Xango Juice and Tahitian Noni Juice. At their basis they are all natural health tonics that provide various forms of benefit. At the same time however they each have individual characteristics that make them unique. Many people around the world are successfully using natural health tonics, the hardest part is knowing which one is right for you.

Tahitian Noni Juice
Tahitian Noni Juice is the one of the three with the longest history. It is a juice that is derived from the fruit of the Noni Plant, a large tree common in island nations of the pacific. It’s main benefit comes from its main ingredient proxeronine’s ability to act as a regenerative agent within the body, restoring various types of cells and increasing the body’s ability to fight off disease. As with most natural remedies its research backing is in its infancy but reports from hundreds of testimonials confirm the thoughts of manufacturers that it does indeed offer powerful benefits. In its consumable form Tahitian Noni is pleasant tasting and is taken just one ounce a day on an empty stomach.

Xango Juice
Xango juice works in a slightly different way. It is also derived from a fruit, name the mangosteen which is said to be the most delicious fruit in the world. Other than tasting good, mangosteen has been found by independent researchers not associated with Xango juice to contain high levels of powerful antioxidants called xanthones. The purpose of antioxidants is to ward off bad bacteria and its manifestation within the body and as such Xango juice is said to be conducive to higher energy levels, better mental alertness as well as an increased immune system and better general health.

Himalayan Goji Juice
In a similar way, Goji juice is derived from a plant called Lycium Barbarum whos fruit the goji berri is said by scientists to be one of the most nutritionally dense fruits in the world. It is actually more varied in its ingredients and contains various forms of antioxidants, protein building amino acids, dietary vitamins as well as its master ingredient Polysaccharides. A certain 4 Polysaccharides are responsible for the strengthening of the body’s immune system and other important defense systems. It is consumed in a small dosage daily though is generally more expensive than the Tahitian Noni.

As you can see, while focusing on sightly different aspects of the process, all three juices work to increase the body’s ability to fight off disease and prolong perfect functioning internal conditions. Really someone could use any of the three mentioned juices and notice great benefits and which one you chose is up to your financial, time and wellness inclination.

Is it true that grape juice has a lot of anti-oxidents?

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

I heard this on the Doctor’s once a couple of months back. Obviously they can’t give you false advice, so what’s the best grape juice to drink, that has the most amount of nutrients, and the least amount of sugar?
Please keep in mind, to get the "best answer" i need a list of juices that are good anti-oxidents with the most nutrients, and lowest amount of sugar.

Yes, however, blueberry juice has even more.

Something you have to watch out for is the "no sugar added" myth. You’ll pick up a bottle of something like "Cranberry juice Cocktail" and read the label, and the first thing on it is "Grape Juice". You’re thinking, hey, if it’s got more grape juice than anything else, why isn’t grape juice even in the title? Well, they take grape juice (white grape juice or sometimes they do this with apple juice too), and take everything out of it, everything but the sugar and the water. Yet they are still legally allowed to call it "grape juice" on the ingredients label. So it says "no sugar added", but that is totally bogus.

If you are drinking grape juice, it’s impossible to spot on the label this deceptive practice. But if you are drinking blueberry juice (sometimes mixed with pomegranate juice, itself high in antioxidants too), it will be a dead giveaway if the label says "grape juice".

The Benefits Of Pure Mangosteen Juice

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

There are a lot of benefits to be had from pure mangosteen juice, where do they come from? From the powerful antioxidants and nutritional components from the mangosteen fruit. This fruit is praised as one of the most powerful and healthy fruits from the tropical areas. It’s considered to be very delicious, and rare; only ripening twice a year.

About the same size as a tangerine the mangosteen is smooth and dark purple in color (the rind that is). The fleshy tasty fruit inside is white, and the majority of those who try it say its one of the most exquisite fruits they’ve tasted. The fruit has been used to help control fever, p;ain, and even ward of particular infections before they start. Those that drink pure mangosteen juice, or take a supplement say they experience increased energy, and protection against disease and illness. It also acts as a wonderful natural anti inflammatory.

What are the Benefits of Pure Mangosteen Juice?

There are not a lot of brands offering 100% pure mangosteen juice, actually to the best of knowledge there is only one. The majority of mangosteen juice makers use a portion of mangosteen fruit, mixed with a variety of other high antioxidant fruit juices. Xango is one of the manufacturers of mangosteen juice, that offers a blend such as this.

One of the most amazing things about pure mangosteen juice and the fruit also is that it’s not the inner white part of the fruit that holds all of the nutritional and healthy value. How ever it is the pericap that possesses all of the antioxidants, as it is the single best supply known of for the powerful xanthones. Pure mangosteen juice provides us all of this but in an easy to ingest drinking form.

Drinking pure mangosteen juice really is a type of supplement, you’re able to ingest all of the nutritional power of the mangosteen fruit in a potent small serving. Of course it’s really the only way for us to take advantage of the health benefits of the mangosteen fruit here in North America as it’s not imported as a whole fruit.

Studied more then any other fruit the mangosteen hold huge nutritional power. The xanthones available in pure mangosteen juice leave you feeling re-energized, refreshed, and rejuvenated, all while helping strengthen your immune system, ward of illnesses and leave you feeling great.

Indeed, the mangosteen can be ingested in many different forms. Regardless of what form you take the mangosteen in, as long as you are sure that the product’s main ingredient is actually that of mangosteen, then you can be sure that you are receiving even half of the plentiful beneficiary components that are found in anything derived from the mangosteen fruit.

Losing Weight With Acai Berry

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

In the past few years there have been a number of new weight loss methods to show up in the world. One of the latest and most popular is losing weight with acai berry. This form of dieting has been featured on television shows, in the news, magazines, and even some big-name celebrities are swearing by it. But, how can you know if what they are telling is the truth? Well, I’m about to talk to you about this latest weight loss trend.

When many people search for a way to lose weight, they are looking for a magic pill that has all the answers. In a perfect world, this would probably be the case. However, there is no magic pill that can solve all of your problems. If your thinking the acai berry is one of these, then look elsewhere, because it’s not. But, when following a proper exercise and nutrition regimen, the acai berry can greatly help your weight loss become a full blown success.

Let me first tell you a little bit about the acai berry. Pronounces “ah-sigh-ee”, the acai berry grows on palm trees deep in the jungles of Central and South America. It has been harvested by the natives for decades as a popular food source. But, with the huge growth in demand for the acai berry, harvesting of it has really shot up. People use it to make yogurt, juice, supplements, or just eat it raw.

If you’ve never tasted the acai berry, you’re probably thinking it has a bitter or nasty taste. Well, it actually has quite a pleasant taste, often being referred to as a chocolate and berry taste. But remember, you can get the acai berry in many different forms, even in supplement form. So if for some reason you don’t like the taste, you can just swallow it.

There have been many health benefits linked with the acai berry. You see, the acai berry is one of the most antioxidant-rich fruits out there. This can be help promote weight-loss, an increase in your energy levels, higher metabolism, and more. However, to maintain the potency of the antioxidants and nutrients, the acai berries must be frozen or freeze dried within minutes of being harvested. If they are not, they can lose a large portion of their antioxidant levels. If you plan on buying an acai product, be sure it meets those requirements, or you could be losing some of it’s effectiveness.

If your looking for an all-natural, antioxidant-loaded fruit to add to your diet regimen, then you should consider the acai berry. It has many great benefits, and the best is it’s all natural. But remember, you will still need to have a proper nutrition and exercise routine for your diet to be effective.

Need as many answers as possible. Only answer if you know about acai juice though.?

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

I see all the health stores carrying acai juice in the glass bottles around $25-30. Also been to hear about Mon Avie. My question is this. Do you drink it and can you honestly tell me if it is worth it?

My neighbors are older folks who drink (and sell) Mon Avie and I have to say they are quite active and energetic. So I do wonder?

Acai is just a really healthy antioxidant rich berry. Nothing particularly special. The reason your neighbors are active and energetic has more to do with their overall health program and less to do with an individual drink. Mona Vie is nothing but a bunch of fruit juices with a super high price tag…

There are 19 different fruits in Mona Vie Active. They are:

Açai berry – The most important ingredient in Mona Vie Active Juice. The Açai berry is filled with phytonutrients, antioxidants, and trace minerals.

Pomegranate – Another powerful ingredient in Mona Vie Active that is rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients.

White Grape – An ingredient in Mona Vie Active that is thought to increase heart health and antioxidants.

Nashi Pear – An apple shaped fruit that is grown in Asia and included in the ingredient list of Mona Vie Active. It is a superb source of dietary fiber, high in vitamins and minerals including the B-complex group.

Acerola – A fruit found in Mona Vie Active, it is shaped like a cherry and is rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and many more essential minerals.

Pear – An excellent source of fiber. The pear found in Mona Vie Active is rich in protein and vitamins.

Aronia – Another important ingredient in Mona Vie Active, it is a berry that is filled with anthocyanins and flavonoids higher even than cranberries.

Purple Grape – Similar to white grape it is a substantial supplier of cardioprotective enzymes. It is also a key component in Mona Vie Active.

Cranberry – A wonderful feature of Mona Vie Active, it is an ideal balance of proteins, anthocyanins, and flavonoids.

Passion Fruit – An ingredient in Mona Vie Active, it is an excellent source of fiber and a super combination of Vitamins A and C.

Banana – A wonderful supplier of potassium and another feature found in Mona Vie Active.

Apricot – Full of Vitamin C and dietary fiber, it will be found in Mona Vie Active as well.

Prune – A vital feature of Mona Vie Active. It is proven to help reduce cholesterol. It may also be an excellent source of antioxidants and perhaps contributes to bone health.

Kiwi – A fruit included in Mona Vie Active, it is grown in New Zealand and full of Vitamin C, essential minerals like copper, magnesium, and manganese.

Blueberry – A rich source of anthocyanins and a wonderful element of Mona Vie Active. The U.S. Agricultural Research Service conducted research that points to the possibility that they contain chemicals that decrease the growth of cervical and breast cancer cells.

Bilberry – It contains an innate fusion of phytochemical glycosides called Cyanidin, Delphinidin, and Malvidin. As an ingredient in Mona Vie Active, it is believed to possess beneficial properties that positively affect the eyes as well as the circulatory system.

Camu Camu – Found on a bush in the Amazon Rain Forest, it is another fruit found in Mona Vie Active. It is known to have anti-depressant and anti-viral properties.

Wolfberry – Found in North West China, as an ingredient in Mona Vie Active, it contains many amino acids and 21 trace minerals.

Lychee – Another ingredient in Mona Vie Active, it can be found in Southern China. It contains high levels of Vitamin C, Potassium, and other nutrients.
