You know those commercials that go "You still could have had a v8?"
I was wondering if it is healthier to just drink water? I’m asking this because v8 (fruit juice) has some vitamins and what not, and water doesn’t. Which one is healthier in the long run?
Well it depends what you’re looking for in your drink.
V8 is good because it gives you those extra vitamins, minerals, and fiber, but it contains extra calories, sugars, and preservatives as well.
Water is good because it hydrates without the calories, preservatives, etc., but it doesn’t contain any vitamins, fiber, etc.
In the long run the best thing to do is drink water, but still get your vitamins, minerals, and fiber from the actual fruits and vegetables. Eventhough V8 supplies this it could add an extra couple pounds from the calories and high-fructose corn syrup as well as leading to other bodily disfunctions. V8 though is better to have than other drink alternatives such as soda, coffee, and energy drinks. So just have everything in moderation. V8 won’t do much damgage, since it is a juice.
I do suggest Naked brand juice. Many of their juices contain no high-fructose corn sryup and even the ones that do have it contain very little. Most of their juices contain little to no water as well meaning that it is all fruits and vegetables.

Google the question ‘where to buy acai berry’ and you are sure to be overwhelmed by the number of sites that sell a variety of acai products – capsules, powder and drinks. Whether you would like to try acai berry as a detoxifying product, a nutritional supplement or as alternative medicine, there is an acai product for every need. This purple-colored, energy-packed berry has a combined flavor of chocolate and berries. However, as acai berries do not remain fresh for long, you get only the processed, fruit pulp anywhere outside Brazil.
If you live in a metro or any major city, you may not have to worry much about where to buy acai berry. While your local supermarket may not feature any acai product, you may easily find acai juice or acai fruit pulp in most health and gourmet stores. Health stores may also stock acai in an unsweetened, pulp form. In addition, the pulp and juice are widely used in sodas, ice-creams, juice blends and smoothies.
Most often, your search regarding where to buy acai berry would end at a health store. When purchasing acai juice from a health store, you can easily learn to identify the real stuff. Acai juice of good quality will appear like a cloudy version of purple, grape juice. In addition, the juice may also feature an oily shine on top due to the presence of essential fatty acids. If the acai juice meets the above-mentioned properties, you can be rest assured about its quality and nutritional benefits.
If you plan to purchase acai online, there are hundreds of sites and products to choose from. Once you have received a number of links on where to buy acai berry juice, it is important to make sure that the stuff you are being offered is absolutely genuine. Never trust sites that claim to sell real acai products at ridiculously cheap rates. It is also best to avoid acai juice blended with other juices. Once you have original acai juice, you can easily blend it yourself!

100% fruit or vegetable juice is very healthy for you. Some people like to drink juice instead of actually eating the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables they need in a day. Having a balanced is important in keeping you feeling and looking young and healthy. People drink juice to stay healthy, or just because they prefer it over other drinks, or it can even be used as a diet. Many people go on a juice fast.
No matter what your reason for drinking juice, you may want to invest in a juicer. When you drink fresh juice from a juicer it contains more of the good enzymes that you want to ingest than store bought juices. There are a few things you may want to consider when buying a juicer of your own.
First you will want to have an idea of how much you are willing to spend. Just remember all the benefits you will gain from drinking freshly made juice. The amount you will need to spend will also depend on what you are looking for in your juicer.
Maintenance is one thing you will want to check out before purchasing your juicer. How much maintenance will a particular juicer require. Some juicers will have brushes that will wear out and need to be replaced. Some will have parts that will need to be lubricated periodically as well. These are things you will want to know before you invest in your juicer.
Warranty is another item that may be of importance to you. Check and see how long the warranty is on a product before purchasing. If you can get a juicer with a longer warranty for about the same price you might as well take advantage of it. If the manufacturer puts a long warranty on their product they must be pretty confident that it will last.
Noise and movement are some other things you can look at. You can buy juicers that make a minimal amount of noise, which is nice. You can also find juicers that have a base that does not allow it to move across the counter as its making the juice. These things are just personal preference of course, and it will depend on what you want.
Another thing you will want to think about is pulp. Do you like pulp in you juice, or do you prefer pulp free juice? Will anybody else in your family be drinking this juice as well, and what do they prefer? You may want to choose a juicer that is capable of making juice with or without pulp. This way you can please everyone in the family, or even have a change in your own juice once in a while.
You can find many different options when purchasing your juicer. Look around and find a juicer that will fit your needs and budget. Make sure you get what you want so that you will continue to use it and not let it just sit on the counter and collect dust.

I am taking a betablocker called Coreg & ACE Inhibitor called Benicar . I was wondering if drinking those juices will interact with my medications. Don’t ask me to ask that to my doctor because they know nothing about those juices. They knkow nothing about supplements or herbs so I wonder why they always say : "please check with your doctor before taking this supplement " LOL
Drink them in small amounts, diluted with water.
They are great anti-oxidants, so regular use will help reduce some blockages, and your blood pressure. You may be able to reduce your dose of pills.
To much will also lower your BP so much you’ll want a nap. I’ve done that a few times.
A good research site is http://www.pubmed.gov

Whenever I drink grape juice. It drips down the side no matter how careful I am. This never happens when I drink water or other juices.
Try using a different cup.

I heard this on the Doctor’s once a couple of months back. Obviously they can’t give you false advice, so what’s the best grape juice to drink, that has the most amount of nutrients, and the least amount of sugar?
Please keep in mind, to get the "best answer" i need a list of juices that are good anti-oxidents with the most nutrients, and lowest amount of sugar.
Yes, however, blueberry juice has even more.
Something you have to watch out for is the "no sugar added" myth. You’ll pick up a bottle of something like "Cranberry juice Cocktail" and read the label, and the first thing on it is "Grape Juice". You’re thinking, hey, if it’s got more grape juice than anything else, why isn’t grape juice even in the title? Well, they take grape juice (white grape juice or sometimes they do this with apple juice too), and take everything out of it, everything but the sugar and the water. Yet they are still legally allowed to call it "grape juice" on the ingredients label. So it says "no sugar added", but that is totally bogus.
If you are drinking grape juice, it’s impossible to spot on the label this deceptive practice. But if you are drinking blueberry juice (sometimes mixed with pomegranate juice, itself high in antioxidants too), it will be a dead giveaway if the label says "grape juice".

The Omega name has been around for more than 30 years and continues to produce a high quality machine.Low revolution auger speedThe Omega Juicer 8006 has a slow turning 80 RPM auger which preserves nutrients longer than high revolution juicers. While some people may be concerned that this means it juices very slowly the speed difference is not all that noticeable. The extra time is well spent in preserving all of the nutrients in the juice and creating a much better tasting juice too!QualityWhile the price tag may seem high – consider the fact that this juicer has a 10-Year Warranty. We have clients who have had their juicer (older models) for 10-20 years without

I can only get hold of the juice but not the tablets. Has any one tried the juice and what results did you get?
They have different purposes. Capsules are mostly geared towards weight loss (and contain added ingredient that help with that) while acai berry juice is more for general nutrition purposes. It’s pretty nutritious, though much more expansive than normal juices (and imo isn’t *that* much better than regular juices)
