I heard that putting lemon juice on pimples at night time (before bed) will almost completely get rid of them before the morning.
Is this true?
And if so how does it work/what do you do to and how much do you put on?
Lemongrass oil, Lavender oil and Tea tree oil are the best natural stuff for ur skin. Lavender oil can be applied neat to the area of skin affected but Lemongrass and Tea tree should be should be considered spot treatments or alternatively fill a basin with warmish water and add a few drops to it then take a clean facewasher and gently pat the skin with the dilution. Also Apple Cider vinegar is a great toner for acne proned skin as it has the same PH balance as your skin and kills bad bacteria but allows the good bacteria to flourish i would recomnend it b4 lemon juice

Okay, I am thinking about putting lemon juice in my hair. Would it be safe for anyone, because my little sis wants to do it and she is 6. Also, if I do put it in and I don’t like it, then how do I get it out. And what is the youngest age you have to be to put it in your hair?
Putting lemon juice in your hair is perfectly fine, it helps if your out laying by the pool, it lets the sun take natural highlight action on your hair. It comes out when you shampoo, ive done it a hundred times, its never caused any damage, and you can do it any age.

Someone told me that soaking your hair in lemon juice is the same treatment a salon gives you to strip your hair of build-up. I’m just wondering if this is true and if so, how do I go about doing this? How long do I leave the juice in my hair before washing it out and does it matter what type of shampoo I use to wash it out? My hair is already dry, would this treatment make it worse? I’m a natural blonde and over time, my hair gets a dingy look to it. I’m hoping this may be the ‘cure’ for that.
Apply lemon juice and honey mixture to the roots of your hair. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Shampoo and condition as usual.Adding honey to the lemon juice will prevent the drying effect of lemon as honey is a natural moisturizer.Honey will make your hair soft while lemon juice will prevent build up of shampoo residuals and add a sparkle to the hair.

Woul you reccomend lemon juice for long, darkih, brown hair??
Will it bring out my natural highlights, and look good??
How muchg do I use, and when?
Thanks a lot! I promise 10 points to an answer that’s most helpful, and detailed!
No lemon juice. Go to the beauty supply store and buy some blue rinse. It’s the same stuff they use get the gray out of old folks hair.
But as far as bootleg remedies, we’ve always used peroxide. (at your own risk)

I am trying to eat healthier and would like to try putting lemon or lime juice in water bottles (i hate to drink water otherwise). I would then drink 2 waters a day and only one Dr. Pepper instead of three or four Dr.Peppers. So I’d like to see what the calories are in both lemon and lime juice. (Maybe 1/2 tablespoon of each in the water?)
Those little plastic lemons are just lemon juice, unless they say otherwise in which case they would have nutritional information on them.

I’ve been thinking of putting lemon juice in my hair just to make it a bir brighter.
But apparently staright lemon juice can be really bad for hair.
Is there anything i can mix it with to lessen the strength? Like conditioner maybe?
Dilute 50/50 water and lemon juice then after you’ve let the sun activate it (about 2 hours) put in a deep conditioner.

I have dirty blonde hair and I want to lighten it before the summer. I know that lemon juice makes your hair lighter (my friend used it) but I don’t want my hair to get really dry or damaged. How can I prevent my hair from getting dry? And how do I apply the lemon juice? Do I have to dilute it?
what you do is use the juice from 1 whole lemon, and 1 cup of water.
you could put a little splash of hydrogen peroxide in there if you want to get faster results, but if you’re worried about it getting damaged i wouldn’t.
put the lemon and water into a spray bottle, like and empty windex bottle or something. just make sure u wash it good first.
spray evenly all over the outside layer of your hair and brush it through until it’s as wet as you want it to be.
go outside IN THE SUN (it doesn’t work w/ out sun.) until hair is about 80% dry. after you come inside you can blowdry it then shower, or just go straight to the shower.
be sure to use a deep conditioner in the shower, or just leave your regular conditioner on it for a long time.
if you usually style it: you should probably do this on a weekend, w/ out plans, so that when you get out of the shower you don’t have to do anything to it and let it dry on it’s own.
you also might have to do this about 3 times before you notice anything, but be sure to keep it at least 1 week apart so it doesn’t damage your hair. i noticed some difference the 1st time i even did it though. it really doesn’t dry it out as bad as people say if you do it right.
good luck with it!! hope i helped some.

I’ve recently been wearing a lot of nail polish, and of course my nails now have a yellow stain on them. D: I’ve heard that soaking your fingers in slightly diluted lemon juice works to get rid of stains, but since I’ve got a fairly big cut on one of my fingers I just want to confirm this method so I don’t plunge my hands in lemon juice for no reason.
why not just dip a cotton ball in the lemon juice instead. ps i tried doing that once and it didn’t completely remove the yellow

To our very own surprise we may find it too in our own backyard. We are talking about the tiny lemon.
For ages this lemon has been used as one of the foremost and most useful beauty product we can imagine. With its rich content of nutrients it helps you with your skin as well as your hair. Lemon by itself or w…
It is so common that anyone or everyone can use it. One cannot say that only the rich and famous were able to make good use of it. It has good amount of Vitamin C which makes things easier if you want to have lovely and ravishing skin.
It is very good cleanser as the nutrients does wonder internally as well as externally. Due to the good work done for our digestive system it helps in giving a very clean and clear skin. If you mix lemon in a glass of warm water and drink it everyday, it will help in clearing the toxins from your body.
By cutting a lemon and rubbing it on your skin and keeping it for nearly an hour would help in removing the sun tan. It will also help in reducing your chances of wrinkles and treating the ever growing blemishes. It would work even better if you happen to rub olive oil before rinsing. It acts as a bleaching agent so avoid using this mixture before going in the sun.
Lemon is a good for your hair too, as it helps in removing dandruff. Rubbing or massaging lemon juice on your hair regulates the blood in your head helping in hair growth. The glands are regulated too which help in producing oil to have a beautiful and shiny hair.
As it helps in stimulation lemon has been used in many of the aromatherapy soaps and oil to rejuvenate you in every aspect. If you have brittle nails rubbing sliced lemon everyday would help you with a much stronger and sturdier nails. You can try one of the common treatments for the nails by soaking them in lemon juice for 10 minutes and then brushing them with equal parts of vinegar and warm for good shape.
It is also used to remove blackheads. If you rub lemon juice over blackheads, keep it overnight and rinse it in the morning it will help you tremendously. Continue doing this every night till the blackheads are gone. It can also be used as a breath mint. Squirt some lemon juice in your mouth and swirl it in your mouth for sometime and then drink it. This method would help in getting rid of your bad breath.
Lemon is acidic; one should use it in proper proportions. It acts as an astringent which may not be good in excess quantity. Before trying any of these remedies please see to it that you are not allergic to it.
