Can i lose weight by by eating only apple and drinking only apple juice and water for like three or seven days?, and how many pounds or kilos i may lose?
I’m talking here from experience.
I don’t recomdend you do that. That is called Juice fast but is very dangerous. Drinking too much liquids on an empty stomach can kill you. And coming off of a fast can kill you.
I was hospitalized because I tried to lose weight with fasting. One of my regular routines was fasting for 5 days at a time. Even though it was only 5 days when I picked something up to eat again I got Refeeding Syndrome. Refeeding Syndrome is when you start eating again after eating little or none at all and your body doesn’t take it well.
Refeeding Syndrome can kill you. I was in the hospital for almost 2 wks because of it.
Fasting is the worst way to lose weight. As well as eating underneath 1200 calories. If you do that you might develope an eating disorder and 1 out of every 5 people with eating disorders die.
Fasting is a terrible way to lose weight. So many things can go wrong. A human can only live for 4 wks without food. And if you are gong 7 days that’s endangering you life a lot.
You should only fast underneath special supervision by a doctor or dietitian and that’s only for reasons such as religion or medical reasons.
I am saying this because I have been there and done that and have seen many girls do the same. And trust me when I say that fasting is very very dangerous. And even if you don’t think you are harmed by it you very well could be. I didn’t know that I had harmed my body that much until the doctor checked it over. I didn’t feel sick or hurt or anything but I had hurt my body a lot by fasting for only 5 days at a time.

Currently, I drink a lot of fruit juice and no fruit/veggies because I think fruit juice is a substitution for them. Is that okay?
you can’t beat fresh fruits and veggies but at least your getting your intake within a juice so it may be fine for you

I heard this on the Doctor’s once a couple of months back. Obviously they can’t give you false advice, so what’s the best grape juice to drink, that has the most amount of nutrients, and the least amount of sugar?
Please keep in mind, to get the "best answer" i need a list of juices that are good anti-oxidents with the most nutrients, and lowest amount of sugar.
Yes, however, blueberry juice has even more.
Something you have to watch out for is the "no sugar added" myth. You’ll pick up a bottle of something like "Cranberry juice Cocktail" and read the label, and the first thing on it is "Grape Juice". You’re thinking, hey, if it’s got more grape juice than anything else, why isn’t grape juice even in the title? Well, they take grape juice (white grape juice or sometimes they do this with apple juice too), and take everything out of it, everything but the sugar and the water. Yet they are still legally allowed to call it "grape juice" on the ingredients label. So it says "no sugar added", but that is totally bogus.
If you are drinking grape juice, it’s impossible to spot on the label this deceptive practice. But if you are drinking blueberry juice (sometimes mixed with pomegranate juice, itself high in antioxidants too), it will be a dead giveaway if the label says "grape juice".

have you been to a smoothie place called jamba juice?
do you waste alot of money?
When I lived in OKC, I went there a lot. I love their Aloha Pineapple….mmm…but now I live in a small town and we don’t have one. Maybe I should go next time I’m up there.

I’m totally out of white vinegar and don’t want to run to the store … I have a lot of lemon juice, though. Can I substitute and will it change the flavor?
Yes, you can……and you can do it the other way around, too……unless the lemon or vinegar are going to be the prominant flavors in the overall recipe…..you’ll be good to go……Enjoy!!!

Lately I’ve been craving nothing but apple juice. One day at I was at work drinking it , and one my co-workers told me that Im going to spend the next couple of days in the bathroom. I didnt believe her, but then the next day my stomach was not feeling too good. My boyfriend was sick with diarrhea, he had caught it from his 2 yr old nephew. So we both just figured that I had caught it from him, or was it the apple juice?
It depends which type you get. Usually the ones with a little sugar and are not from concentrate are the ones that make you pee alot. Trust me. My mom’s a nutritionist.

My daughter is a basketball player and she requires a lot of energy because she is very active. I want to know what kind of juice can I add to her lunch box.. besides water and a sports drink that i’ve already added. I don’t want to give her something like soda or a diet soda.. I just want to know which juice will provide much more energy for her. Like orange juice, apple juice etc.
give her carrot juice, or make a fruit shake:combine apple, banana, seedles grapes, mango add the non fat milk, then some tube ice put it on the blender ,fresto fruit shake.

Hi, personally, I find the taste of red wine bitter and grape juice is far superior in all aspects. Although I know that red wine has a lot of benefits, it just doesnt have the best taste. As an alternative, would red wine have the same heart benefits.
Concord grape juice has the same leukoanthrocyanins as dark or red wine. The alcohol in wine may help raise good cholesterol slightly. But, if you have any problem with alcohol, you can get the same benefit for your heart with the juice.
Hope this helps.

What are the proportions of fructose, sucrose and glucose in fruit juices like grape juice, orange juice and apple juice? If you know a website with this information, please let me know.
That will depend on which kind of fruit you’re talking about. Orange and grape juice have a lot more than cranberry juice. Then there’s the high fructose corn syrup which is added to it when it’s bottled.

ive done the master cleanse (or lemonade diet) before and i used real lemons, but it took ages to squeeze and A LOT more lemons than you’d think. it worked well, so im planning on doing it again. would it really make that much of a difference if i just used bottled lemon juice?
i know. i keep hearing it would counteract. im kind of asking WHY? does anyone know? and how much would it affect it?
Unfortunately, bottled lemon juice does NOT have the essential vitamins needed for you the master cleanse. You can Google "Is bottled lemon juice okay for the master cleanse?" for more information.
Just think of all the calories you’ll be losing to make that juice! My arm’s tired just thinking about it!
Sorry!
