My husband is Brazilian (acai comes from Brazil) and he says there pregnant woman drink it all the time because its so healthy and has a lot of vitamins in it, (we always have it in the house, he loves it) however here in the US many people drink it to loose weight, its never made me loose weight but for some I guess it works. I’ve been researching it and it says on many discussion boards not to drink it while pregnant but i cant find any real research on it…Anybody know anything?
All natural berry juice should be just fine for you to drink while you are pregnant.

What’s Jamba juice? If your don’t know what it is then don’t answer.
I don’t know if this is the right catagory.
Its a quick juice bar where you can get smoothies. They are pretty good and they focus on healty items. You are allowed to add a booster, which means you could add vitamins, or protein or regulatory minerals into your smoothy for free which is nice.
Depending where you are, you’ll pay a decent price for their very large smoothies.

I drink lots of orange juice (with Calcium and Vitamin D) and take a vitamin every day, and I have this productive cough. Can these help me get rid of it?
Note: I do not take any OTC medicines, nor do I want to take them anyway.
Vitamins are good to take and orange juice is good for you, but there are no real cures for your cough(if it is from viral infection). A productive cough is not necessarily a bad thing in the short term. If it persists for more than a week go see a doc. An expectorant won’t do anything for you if it is already productive. That is used to make a dry unproductive cough more watery and productive. If you are annoyed by coughing spells and can’t relax the best thing to do is take a cough syrup, but you don’t take those. Drink plenty of fluids to keep the cough productive, it should pass. If it doesn’t or you start getting any chest pains gp see a doc.

When you use a juice extractor, it takes roughly 5 whole fruits to make 1 glass of juice. So does that 1 glass of juice count as 5 daily servings of fruits and vegetables or just 1?
no. 1 glass doesn’t count as 5 servings. 1 glass (8 oz) would count as one serving. it just takes more juice because it’s only taking the juice and not the pulp. your body needs the pulp because it supplies lots of nutrients and vitamins for your body along with fiber.

ive done the master cleanse (or lemonade diet) before and i used real lemons, but it took ages to squeeze and A LOT more lemons than you’d think. it worked well, so im planning on doing it again. would it really make that much of a difference if i just used bottled lemon juice?
i know. i keep hearing it would counteract. im kind of asking WHY? does anyone know? and how much would it affect it?
Unfortunately, bottled lemon juice does NOT have the essential vitamins needed for you the master cleanse. You can Google "Is bottled lemon juice okay for the master cleanse?" for more information.
Just think of all the calories you’ll be losing to make that juice! My arm’s tired just thinking about it!
Sorry!
